Refund Policy

At Country Cabinets, we are committed to customer satisfaction and stand behind the quality of our custom cabinetry services. This Refund Policy outlines our policies regarding refunds, cancellations, and returns for our products and services.

Custom Cabinetry Services

Custom Nature: Our cabinetry services are custom-made to your specifications. Due to the personalized nature of our products, cancellations and refunds are subject to specific conditions outlined below.

Deposit Policy: A 50% deposit is required to begin work on custom cabinetry projects. This deposit is non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has commenced.

Cancellation Policy

Before Work Begins: If you cancel your order before any work has begun and before materials have been ordered, you may receive a full refund of your deposit.

After Work Begins: Once work has commenced or materials have been ordered, the deposit becomes non-refundable. Any additional payments made may be partially refunded, minus costs already incurred.

After Completion: No refunds are available once the project has been completed and delivered, unless there are significant quality issues covered under our warranty.

Quality Issues and Defects

Manufacturing Defects: If a manufacturing defect is discovered in your cabinetry, we will repair or replace the defective components at no additional cost within our warranty period.

Installation Issues: If installation issues occur due to our workmanship, we will correct these issues at no additional cost.

Refund for Quality Issues: In cases where defects cannot be reasonably repaired or corrected, we may offer a partial refund based on the affected portion of the project.

Measurement and Design Changes

Customer-Requested Changes: Changes to measurements, design, or specifications requested by the customer after work has begun may result in additional charges and are not eligible for refund.

Measurement Errors: If measurement errors occur on our part, we will correct the issue at no additional cost to you.

Site Preparation Issues: If site preparation issues (such as incorrect wall dimensions or utility placement) affect installation, additional charges may apply and are not eligible for refund.

Delivery and Installation

Delivery Damage: If cabinetry is damaged during delivery, we will repair or replace the damaged components. Refunds are not provided for delivery damage.

Installation Delays: Delays in installation due to factors beyond our control (such as site preparation issues or weather) do not qualify for refunds.

Installation Completion: Once installation is complete and you have signed off on the work, no refunds will be issued except for warranty-covered issues.

Consultation and Design Services

Consultation Fees: Consultation fees are non-refundable as they cover our time and expertise in providing professional advice.

Design Fees: Custom design fees are non-refundable once design work has been completed and presented to you.

Design Changes: Additional design changes requested after initial design approval may incur additional fees and are not eligible for refund.

Force Majeure

Unforeseeable Events: In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, extreme weather, supply chain disruptions), we will work with you to reschedule or modify your project. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for delays beyond our control.

Refund Process

Request Process: To request a refund, please contact us in writing with your order details and reason for the refund request.

Review Process: All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We will respond to your request within 10 business days.

Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days using the original payment method.

Partial Refunds: Partial refunds, when applicable, will be calculated based on the specific circumstances and costs already incurred.

Non-Refundable Items

The following items and services are non-refundable:

  • Custom cabinetry once work has begun
  • Consultation and design fees
  • Materials that have been ordered or customized
  • Installation services once completed
  • Shipping and handling fees
  • Custom finishes or stains
